The Eravikulam National Park is open from 7.30 AM to 4 PM of every day, but it is best to visit the place at the early morning time, 7.30 to 8 am. Then you can enjoy nature the most.

Best Time to visit
There are two different timing to go there and to enjoy the best of natural beauty. April to June and September to November are the best timings to visit the park. Monsoon season is strictly prohibited for the travellers, the park remains close during the season. If you want to have a best ever travel experience, avoid the first two months of a year to visit.

This national park is the home of the Nilgiri Tahr. It is a wildlife sanctuary, so you will find many other species and animals even the tigers there. Twenty-six types of mammals and 750 individual Nilgiritahr are the main attraction of Rajmalai. 132 spices of the birds including Nilgiri Wood pigeon, different kinds of flycatcher, beautiful Nilgiri Pipit can sing for you, if you are at the park and also the laughing thrush. There also different kinds of gorgeous butterflies and colourful frogs to add more colours to your adventurous journey of Eravikulam National Park.
Flora
Eravikulam Park is divided into three parts, scrublands, grasslands and deep dark forest. Various trees and flowers are there at the different parts of the forest. At the slopes there also the tea plantation. There also some protected area at the sanctuary Eravikulam Park.
