Agumbe Hill Station

This place is also known as ‘Cherrapunji of South’. It receives the heaviest rainfall in the south. The place is covered with greens and only rainforest research center located in India. A marvelous hills of Karnataka, well known serial ‘Malgudi Days’, an R. K. Narayan’s novel was shot on this hills station only.
Jogi Gundi Falls
47 km away from Udupi, this waterfall is a must see. This is a small but beautiful waterfall near Kunchikal. This is coming down from the hill to a big pool. You can enjoy the natural beauty there with your loved ones for a couple of hours, it is popularly known as cave falls due to its natural surroundings. The natural beauty of the surroundings is really awesome and peaceful too. Buses and cabs are available to reach there from Udupi.
Nibhani Gudda
It is the trekking route to the mountain and the bare mountain has made the place truly beautiful.

Hassan, Chikmagalur, Sringeri are the nearest places to stay there because you do not find any proper accommodation near the place. Small restaurants and food stations are there only.

To need to reach Bengaluru first from any corner of India or outside. You will find some private buses also. The best option to reach there is the private cars or other vehicles and you can get that from your hotel or local car service companies. You can also take a car from Mangalore airport or can reach Udupi or Shimoga station by train.
